Ministry Purpose & Description
Established in 2003, the mission of this ministry is to build a Christ-centered community where young adults can develop their faith identity through the moral, social, spiritual and scriptural traditions of the Church. Those in their 20’s and 30’s who are looking for a community of Christ-centered and fun-loving peers are welcome: no time commitment necessary!
St Lucy believes that the Church is comprised of Young Adult who vary from 18-39 years old. However, the issues, challenges, joys and spiritual needs of that age bracket is very diverse.
We like to think of our Young Adults into three categories:
- College Age (18+)
- Young Professional (22+)
- Newly Married (Married <5 years)
Meeting Frequency and Meeting Place
Various times and locations, usually twice a month for social, spiritual and service events.
